Embracing Our Corporate Relations and Social Responsibility

Glanbia Foods has a long history of social and community involvement in the Southern Idaho region. As one of the largest employers in the Magic Valley, we are committed to investing in community programs that will positively impact families, education and children in our area. We know that our economic goals are linked to environmental and social performance levels. And, that's why Glanbia Foods has adopted a Corporate Social Responsibility Program designed to help identify opportunities in which we can give back to the communities we proudly serve.

Glanbia Foods is involved with local organizations that impact our surrounding communities. We work with these organizations in a support program that involves the company, our employees and even our customers. Currently, Glanbia Foods is actively providing corporate support to the Boys and Girls Club of Magic Valley. And, we have developed a scholarship program for the children of our dairy patrons and employees to support continuing educational opportunities.

Glanbia Foods has donated over $775,000 to local charities since 1994. In addition to contributions from the company, we run an annual charity challenge golf event each year and donate the proceeds to designated companies. In 2007, the charity challenge raised $83,000 which was donated to five separate organizations, with the largest donation of $40,650 going to the Crisis Center of Magic Valley.
