Scholarship Program

Glanbia announces the Scholarship Program for 2010.  A maximum of two $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to students whose parents work for Glanbia or are a Glanbia patron. 

Eligibility requirements are:

• Children of full-time active Glanbia employees. The employee must have a minimum of one year of employment with the company as of the application deadline date.
• Children of patrons. The patron must be active at the time of the deadline.
• Children of active part-time employees are also encouraged to apply. The part time employee must be employed for at least two consecutive years and have worked a minimum of 1,000 hours per calendar year.
• Students must be graduating high school seniors who plan to enroll in a full-time course of study at an accredited two or four year college, university, or vocational-technical school or a 2^nd, 3^rd or 4^th year student studying in a dairy manufacturing related program (i.e. Dairy Science, Food Science, Manufacturing Engineering Tech, etc).

Interested students must submit a completed Glanbia Scholarship Application, a current transcript of grades, and a one page essay explaining his/her career and educational objectives. Patrons can download the application from the Patron web site.

Applications must be postmarked by April 30, 2010 and sent to:
